Check-in and Check-out Procedures

  • Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am.
  • Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
  • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.

Property Access

  • The road leading to the home is paved, but the driveway is a 0.2 mile single lane gravel road that is shared by both the Chalet and Skytop Retreat.
  • Both properties are connected by a rustic sky bridge.

Policies and Rules

  • CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations 60+ days prior to arrival receive a full refund minus the $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival will not be refunded unless the dates are rebooked to another traveler.
  • No smoking allowed.
  • No events allowed.
  • Minimum age: 25 years.
  • Children allowed.

  • This property is pet friendly. Please inquire for details regarding pet policy and any associated fees.
  • Firewood for the outdoor fire pit may be purchased in advance from our office with a week (7 days) notice. Firewood is $25/day for 2 bundles of wood.
  • Guest passes (Beech Mountain Club) must be requested and paid for in advance and limitations may apply.
  • Cancellations 60+ days prior to arrival receive a full refund minus the $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival will not be refunded unless the dates are rebooked to another traveler.

Parking Information

  • The driveway is a 0.2 mile single lane gravel road that is shared by both the Chalet and Skytop Retreat.
  • 4WD or AWD vehicles are required to drive up to Beech Mountain during winter (November-April), and chains may also be necessary during bad weather.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • Towels and linens will be provided.
  • Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cooking basics. "Starter set" of paper products provided: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. These items are provided for one or two nights.
  • High-speed internet, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, stove, oven, toaster, ice-maker, BBQ grill, pool table, hot tub, and TV are included amenities.
  • We do not provide hair dryers.
  • Please note that there is not air conditioning in the Chalet.

  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals.
  • Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector are present.
